Seaglider data Level 1 Time series of a few basic variables, including temperature, salinity, pressure, and time of the observations. Seaglider has a good flight model, which uses the vehicle engineering variables as well as the water column observations (in-situ density) to calculate the vehicle motion through the water. Our best guess of the vehicle position is included here. Level 2 Same as time series data, but gridded on a regular depth. Value is NaN if no observation is present in that depth bin. Level 3 Interpolated version of Level 2 data, with the additional step of "despiked", where we remove data that are more than 2 standard deviations for a running mean. Flags: 0 no data (interpolated), 0.5 outside despiker, 1 is good
